About EMP Audit System

The EMP Audit System is a digital platform designed to streamline the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) audit process for tourism establishments across Namibia and the broader SADC region.

Traditionally, EMP audits were conducted manually and could take weeks to complete. Our system automates this process — allowing tourism operators to submit EMP audits, upload evidence (e.g. photos, documents), and generate professional reports on the go.

This platform was created as a response to real-world inefficiencies identified during field testing with Gondwana Collection properties. In just one week, five EMP audits were completed — a task that would typically take several weeks using the manual method.

We are committed to sustainability, efficiency, and compliance with MEFT's environmental regulations, and we are working toward future AI integration that will flag non-compliance based on audit data and national environmental regulations.
